Structural Analysis of Electric Heating Steam Generator


The electric heating steam generator is a miniature boiler that can automatically replenish water, heat and continuously generate low-pressure steam. As long as the water source and power supply are connected, the small water tank, make-up pump and control operating system are integrated into a complete system without complicated installation.

The electric heating steam generator is mainly composed of a water supply system, an automatic control system, a furnace lining and a heating system, and a safety protection system.

1. The water supply system is the throat of the automatic steam generator, which continuously supplies dry steam to the user. After the water source enters the water tank, turn on the power switch. Driven by the self-control signal, the high temperature resistant solenoid valve opens and the water pump runs. It is injected into the furnace through a one-way valve. When the solenoid valve or one-way valve is blocked or damaged, and the water supply reaches a certain pressure, it will overflow back to the water tank through the overpressure valve, thus protecting the water pump. When the tank is cut off or there is residual air in the pump piping, only air can get in, no water. As long as the exhaust valve is used to exhaust air quickly, when the water is sprayed out, the exhaust valve is closed and the water pump can work normally. The main component in the water supply system is the water pump, most of which use high-pressure, large-flow multi-stage vortex pumps, while a small part use diaphragm pumps or vane pumps.

2. The liquid level controller is the central nervous system of the generator automatic control system, which is divided into two categories: electronic and mechanical. The electronic liquid level controller controls the liquid level (that is, the water level difference) through three electrode probes of different heights, thereby controlling the water supply of the water pump and the heating time of the furnace electric heating system. The working pressure is stable and the application range is relatively wide. The mechanical liquid level controller adopts stainless steel floating ball type, which is suitable for generators with large furnace lining volume. The working pressure is not very stable, but it is easy to disassemble, clean, maintain and repair.

3. The furnace body is generally made of seamless steel pipe specially designed for boilers, which is slender and upright. The electric heating system mainly uses one or more curved stainless steel electric heating tubes, and its surface load is usually around 20 watts/square centimeter. Due to the high pressure and temperature of the generator during normal operation, the safety protection system can ensure its safety, reliability and efficiency in long-term operation. Generally, safety valves, check valves and exhaust valves made of high-strength copper alloy are used for three-level protection. Some products also increase the water level glass tube protection device, which increases the user’s sense of security.
