1. Definition of steam generator
A evaporator is a mechanical device that uses heat energy from fuel or other power to heat water into hot water or steam. Generally, the combustion, heat release, slagging, etc. of fuel are called furnace processes; the water flow, heat transfer, thermochemistry, etc. are called pot processes. The hot water or steam generated in the boiler can directly provide the heat energy required for industrial and agricultural production and people’s lives. It can also be converted into mechanical energy through steam power equipment, or the mechanical energy can be converted into electrical energy through a generator. The principle design of using a once-through boiler is a miniature once-through boiler, which is mainly used in daily life and has a few applications in industrial production.
2. Working principle of steam generator
It is mainly composed of heating chamber and transpiration chamber. After being softened by water treatment, the raw water enters the soft water tank. After heating and deaeration, it is sent to the evaporator body by the water supply pump, where it conducts radiation heat exchange with the high-temperature flue gas of combustion. The high-speed flowing water in the coil quickly absorbs heat during the flow and becomes The soda-water mixture and water vapor are separated by the soda-water separator and then sent to the separate cylinders for supply to users.
3. Classification of steam generators
Evaporators are divided into three types according to operating pressure: normal pressure, pressurized and reduced pressure.
According to the movement of the solution in the evaporator, there are:
(1) Circular type. The boiling solution passes through the heating surface many times in the heating chamber, such as central circulation tube type, hanging basket type, external heating type, Levin type and forced circulation type, etc.
(2) One-way type. The evaporated solution passes through the heating surface once in the heating chamber without circulation, and then the concentrated solution is discharged, such as rising film type, falling film type, stirring film type and centrifugal film type.
(3) Direct touch type. The heating medium and the solution are in direct contact with each other for heat transfer, such as a submerged incineration evaporator.
During the operation of the evaporation equipment, a lot of heating steam is consumed. In order to save heating steam, multi-effect evaporation equipment and steam recompression evaporators can be used. Evaporators are widely used in chemical industry, light industry and other departments.
