Except for specially customized and clean steam generators, most steam generators are made of carbon steel. If they are not maintained during use, they are prone to rust. The accumulation of rust will damage the equipment and reduce the service life of the equipment. Therefore, it is very necessary to properly maintain the steam generator and remove rust.
1. Daily maintenance
The cleaning of the steam generator is divided into two parts. One part is the cleaning of the steam generator convection tube, superheater tube, air heater, water wall tube scale and rust stains, that is, the steam generator water should be treated well, and high pressure can also be used. Water jet cleaning technology can achieve good results in cleaning the steam generator furnace body.
2. Chemical descaling of steam generator
Add chemical detergent to clean, separate and discharge the rust, dirt and oil in the system and restore it to a clean metal surface. The cleaning of the steam generator is divided into two parts. One part is the cleaning of convection tubes, superheater tubes, air heaters, water wall tubes and rust stains. The other part is the cleaning of the outside of the tubes, that is, the cleaning of the steam generator furnace body. Clean up.
When chemically descaling the steam generator, you should also pay attention to the fact that the generation of scale in the steam generator has a great influence on the PH value, and the PH value is not allowed to be too high or too low. Therefore, daily maintenance must be done well, and more attention should be paid to preventing metal from rusting and preventing calcium and magnesium ions from condensing and depositing. Only in this way can the steam generator itself be ensured from being corroded and its service life extended.
3. Mechanical descaling method
When there is scale or slag in the furnace, drain the furnace stone after shutting down the furnace to cool down the steam generator, then flush it with water or clean it with a spiral wire brush. If the scale is very hard, use high-pressure water jet cleaning, electric or hydraulic pipe cleaning to clean it. This method can only be used to clean steel pipes and is not suitable for cleaning copper pipes because the pipe cleaners can easily damage copper pipes.
4. Conventional chemical scale removal method
Depending on the material of the equipment, use a safe and powerful descaling cleaning agent. The concentration of the solution is usually controlled to 5~20%, which can also be determined based on the thickness of the scale. After cleaning, first drain the waste liquid, then rinse with clean water, then fill up the water, add a neutralizer with about 3% of the water capacity, soak and boil for 0.5 to 1 hour, drain the residual liquid, and then rinse with clean water. Two times is enough.
