People are paying more and more attention to health, and daily home disinfection work is becoming more and more popular, especially in hospitals that are in close contact with patients, the sterilization and disinfection of medical equipment has become the top priority of hospital management. So how does the hospital carry out the disinfection and sterilization work?
The scalpels, surgical forceps, bone forceps, and other medical instruments in the hospital are all reused. In order to ensure that the next operator will not be infected, the sterilization and disinfection work must be foolproof. After the initial cold water cleaning of general instruments, they will be cleaned with ultrasonic waves, and the steam generator provides energy for the ultrasonic cleaning machine, and cleans by generating high-pressure jets.
An important reason why hospitals choose steam generators for sterilization is that the steam generators can continuously output steam at a constant temperature of 338℉ to ensure the use of medical equipment for sterilization. Studies have shown that high-temperature disinfection generally uses heating to about 248℉ and keeping it for 10-15 minutes to denature the protein tissue of microorganisms including bacteria and viruses to achieve the purpose of killing bacteria and viruses. The high-temperature disinfection effect is better, and it can kill bacteria and viruses (including hepatitis B virus), and the killing rate is ≥99%.
Another reason is that the steam generator has no pollution and no residue, and will not produce secondary pollution. The steam generator uses pure water, which will not produce impurities during the steam evaporation process, and does not contain toxic and harmful chemical components. On the one hand, the safety of steam high-temperature sterilization is guaranteed, and in addition, no waste water and waste are generated, and outdoor environmental protection is also realized.
Compared with traditional boilers, steam generators are easier to operate and can realize automatic program control. Hospitals can also adjust the steam temperature according to needs, making medical sterilization more convenient, intelligent and easy.
